Sustainable Farming & Community Empowerment

Tour Overview

Let’s explore and learn about sustainable farming practices in a traditional village near Ubud, Bali. This program takes place in community-owned rice fields where local farmers continue to preserve environmentally friendly and traditional agricultural systems.

Participants can enjoy a meaningful holiday while learning in a natural and exotic rural setting. The close connection with nature, green rice paddies, and direct interaction with farmers provide an inspiring experience and a deeper sense of gratitude.

As a volunteer, you will assist in daily farming activities and contribute to rice field conservation and the economic sustainability of local farmers. Baliedu collaborates with local NGOs and universities committed to preserving agricultural land in Bali. The foundation also supports farmers in producing eco-friendly agricultural products to meet the needs of both local communities and the tourism industry.

Participants may stay with a local farming family (live-in experience), learn about village culture, and occasionally witness traditional ceremonies. Your participation not only offers a valuable personal experience but also contributes to strengthening farmers’ livelihoods and encouraging younger generations to return to agriculture.
