Pura Tirta Empul is one of Bali’s most sacred water temples, renowned for its natural holy spring believed to possess purifying power since ancient times. Located in Tampaksiring, the temple is a spiritual site where Balinese Hindus perform melukat, a ritual cleansing ceremony for the mind, body, and soul.
